In Kvitfjell you will not only find the mountainside you can see from the E6. Up in the mountains, there are several mountainsides to choose from, perfect for all skill levels. In total, the three mountainsides are widely distributed with various routes, forest trails, freeride areas, parks, restaurants and children's areas.
Varden - perfect for the family
From Skitorget you take the gondola over to Varden, our newest mountainside. This is super popular for families because of the wide and gentle trails, forest areas and fun slopes.From our popular cabins in Varden Mountain Village it is easy to ski in and out.
At the top of Varden is Varden Restaurant. Worth a visit with unbeatable views of Rondane!
The West Side - the sunny side for everyone
Once you have taken the lift to the top, you have every opportunity and easily slide to the Middle Station or the West Side. Here you will find a large selection of trails, from green to blue, and some red. Most of the trails are kind and wide.
At the bottom of the area is Skitorget with children's areas, restaurants, ski school, ski rental and sports shop.
The middle station - the enthusiast's first choice
This is the mountainside you see from the E6 and this is where the downhill course is located where the super alpinists challenge themselves and "the perfect turn". This is the ski enthusiast's first choice because there is a wide range of rough slopes.

Choose the site that best suits you and your family. Remember that all three mountainsides have eateries, areas for children and a great variety of trails.
Meet Jøkul - the children's best friend
Jøkul is Kvitfjell's mascot, and the children's best friend in Kvitfjell. He lives in a snow cave and loves to be out skiing and collecting snow diamonds. You can meet him outside all winter and join his fun activities!
Food in a class of its own
In all three of our mountainsides you will find a large selection of great restaurants - all with their own character.
Everything from alpine-inspired food, to homemade pizza, soups with local ingredients and three-course meals at altitude. In addition to that, we have Gudbrandsgard hotel with restaurant, bar and spa.

Stay at Gudbrandsgard and get the spa experience in the middle of the slopes - before or after a long day of skiing. At Yttersvingen you live between the lifts and right in the center of Vest and Varden. Close to the beloved mountains and all our trails and offers.
Travel to Kvitfjell
Kvitfjell is only 2 hours from Oslo Airport Gardermoen and 2.5 hours from Oslo. You can drive on a four-lane highway for much of the journey or take the train to Kvitfjell Station. From the station, you can take the shuttle bus or the lift up into the mountains. This makes Kvitfjell an easily accessible destination - perfect for a snow-filled getaway.
