Favn - a mountain village unlike any other
In the heart of Hafjell – on Gondoltoppen – you will find the new mountain village of Favn. Designed by architect Reiulf Ramstad with roots in traditional Nordic building tradition.
Hafjell is known for its range of activities, with alpine slopes in a class of their own and endless cross crountry ski trails into the mountains. In the summer months, the area offers many hiking and biking trails and fantastic nature experiences. In the local community, you can participate in cultural events and enjoy excellent local food.
Active holiday or complete relaxation
At Favn you should be able to lower your shoulders, calm your heart rate or be active – big and small, alone or together, with or without a car. Life should be fun in Hafjell.
Close to the experiences
From Favn you have all the possibilities within reach. You are right at the heart of the ski resort and the slopes, as well as Hafjell Bike Park in the summer. You can tak our 6-seater chairlift to Hafjelltoppen at 1056 meters above sea level where you can slide straight into the alpine slopes or cross-country tracks.
Favn ski and bike rental
Guests staying at Favn can have pre-ordered ski equipment delivered directly to the ski lockers belonging to the apartments. The ski rental has its own location at Favn with a small ski shop.
In the summer, you can rent downhill bikes, gravel bikes, trail bikes, both electric and regular, as well as children's bikes. We also have kids bikes for the For the pump track.
Restaurant Favn
The restaurant building is designed as a unique gathering point. You can enjoy a tasty lunch with good friends, or have a delicious dinner in the evening.
Favn café
Next to the restaurant is Favn Café. You can sit down for a cup of coffee, cacao for the kids and fresh baking goods. A small and pleasant place that is a popular addition to the entire area of Favn.
Skiing in and out
From Favn you have all the possibilities within reach. You are right at the heart of the ski resort and the slopes. You can tak our 6-seater chairlift to Hafjelltoppen at 1056 meters above sea level where you can slide straight into the alpine slopes or cross-country tracks, or go further down to the Olympic slope and family areas at the bottom. The entire ski resort is facing the sun and has good snow conditions from mid-November to mid-April.
In total, Hafjell offers 50 km of alpine trails and is today Norway's 3rd largest ski resort - and still developing! Parking space is included with all apartments.

The apartments are modernly designed, with everything from 2 to 5 bedrooms. One of the signature elements of the apartment yard is the characteristic window shapes that provide beautiful light, great views and a unique sense of space.

Favn Klyngetun: The apartment complex consists of 58 holiday apartments over four floors with elevator access and has 2-5 bedrooms. One of the signature elements of the apartment complex is the characteristic window shapes that provide beautiful light, great views and a unique sense of space.
Favn Backyard is located right by the Backyard slope at Gondoltoppen. These apartments offer views of Gudbrandsdalen and the ski resort. A clear first choice for a real mountain experience with your loved ones. The apartments have 2-3 bedrooms and 5-8 beds.
Favn Chalèt is a collection of luxury chalet apartments with unique characteristics and of course of about 80 sqm with a very high standard. The apartments have 3-4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
