Sunny Hafjell
With 18 lifts and over 50 km of slopes to choose from, it’s easy to pick Hafjell. The ski resort faces the sun, and with the gondola, you quickly reach the higher elevations. Meeting points are at the base, on Gondoltoppen, and at Gaiastova.
Remember to buy your lift pass before you arrive.

In Hafjell, you’ll find something to suit every taste, from delicious stone oven-baked pizza at Favn to elk burgers at Vidsyn. Maybe a large cinnamon bun and coffee at Skavlen sounds more tempting?
Family-friendly Hafjell
Hafjell is the perfect starting point for beginners or those with small children. Easily reach the mountain with the gondola, and from Gondoltoppen, a family paradise unfolds with several kids’ areas and simple, green beginner slopes.

Easy Access to the Slopes
Hafjell is just over two hours from Oslo via the E6, with easy access and a comfortable travel route. From Oslo, there is a four-lane motorway all the way to Moelv, and the train stops in Lillehammer with bus connections to Hafjell. This makes Hafjell one of Norway’s most accessible ski resorts – ideal for a spontaneous weekend trip or a longer holiday.
There is also a free ski bus at the destination.

The combination of good skiing, exciting challenges, delicious food and the proximity to Lillehammer, is probably what has made Hafjell one of Scandinavia's most popular places to spend your ski holiday. Still, the slopes are rarely cramped. There is a large selection of slopes, both in skill level and design. Here are the wide carving slopes, the exciting slopes through the forest and the scenic slopes with views into Gudbrandsdalen and the mountain kingdom as far as the eye can see.
