Travel to Hafjell
Hafjell is easily accessible regardless of the choice of transport. 15 km north of Lillehammer city, and approx. 20 miles north of Oslo. It takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes by car from Oslo on the E6 or Rv4 via Gjøvik.
Oslo Airport Gardermoen is located 16 miles south of Hafjell with good connections to Lillehammer and Hafjell. Drive your own car, take the train or bus to "Hafjell Alpinsenter" - we encourage everyone to use public transport!
hafjellbussen
The Hafjell bus takes you between the various activities, restaurants and accommodations in Hafjell, Øyer and Hunderfossen, and corresponds with the buses to/from Lillehammer. A separate bus ticket applies to buses to/from Lillehammer.
The bus follows a fixed schedule between 08:40 – 18:30 every day from 28/12 – 21/4. The bus also runs Friday evening and Saturday evening/night.
Prices for the Hafjell bus:
- Lift pass = free during the day
- Other travelers = 27,- single ticket with duration of 1 hour
- In the evenings, adults must pay NOK 79 in evening supplement. Child/senior = 68,-
- The ticket is valid for the whole evening
- Children under 6 years travel for free

Train to Hafjell
There are trains almost every hour from Oslo and Oslo Airport to Lillehammer Skysstasjon. From here you can further use local scheduled buses to Hafjell Alpine Center or Øyer Sentrum. In Hafjell you can use the Hafjell bus to get to selected accommodations in the mountains. The Hafjell bus also corresponds with certain arrival times at Hunderfossen station (train). We encourage all travelers to plan their trip on Entur's website, or in the Entur app.
There are frequent bus departures between Lillehammer and Hafjell, and the bus only takes about 15 minutes. Scheduled buses, ski buses and restaurant buses combined make up many departures from early morning to late night hours.

Choose between short-term and seasonal rentals. Then the equipment is always ready for you to go skiing and it is easier to take the bus to and from Hafjell.
Car to Hafjell
With good roads all the way from Oslo, the road trip to Hafjell is comfortable and fast.
Hafjell is located 200 km from Oslo and takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes by car via the E6 or Rv4 via Gjøvik. From Oslo Airport it is about 150 km to Hafjell, and it takes about 2 hours by car. At the parking lot in Hafjell there are charging stations for electric cars.
Parking in Hafjell
The parking lot at Skitorget Hafjell is regulated for a fee. The rate is differentiated between day and evening and you can stand for 1.5 hours for free.

The rate is calculated from the time of running-in. For overnight parking, a new fee will be charged from the time of entry when the clock passes 08:00.

Register a profile and select "auto-withdraw" in the app, and the payment will be deducted automatically every time without you having to do anything. You can use the app within 48 hours of exiting, if you do not have an automatic deduction or choose parking with payment at a vending machine on departure. Service surcharges apply. The app is only available to Norwegian guests. International guests must use one of the two methods below.

If you do not use the app or machine on departure, you can choose Park & Go. Then you don't need to do anything on site. The products have an additional cost. Choose between two products:
- Search for license plate number and pay online within 48 hours at flow.apcoa.no.
- "Park & Go" invoiced to the vehicle's legal owner. The product costs tariff + fixed product price. An invoice fee will apply.

New user? Download APCOA FLOW from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). Then follow the steps below.
Foreign user? First, create a profile on flow.apcoa.no site.
Already have a profile? Follow the steps below.Step-by-step:
- Go to the website: Visit leie.apcoa.no, or click on the link on Hafjell's website for seasonal parking.
- Find the right deal: o If you click via Hafjell's website, you will be taken directly to the right area. o If you are using leie.apcoa.no, search for parking area. Search for: "Hafjell Alpinsenter (Øyer)".
- Select the agreement: Click the agreement that appears. When you click on the agreement, the product details will be displayed.
- Log in: Click on "login" and enter the phone number and password for your APCOA Flow profile, and press "Next". You will then see the product details again before you have to click "Next".
- Select payment card and vehicle o Select payment card and check that you have registered your vehicle(s). All vehicles registered on your FLOW profile can be used on this contract. Update your profile in FLOW if the information is not displayed automatically. Click "Next when the product details are correct.
- Confirm your purchase: In the final step, confirm the product details and click "Next."
- Finish: In the last step, confirm the payment.

Taxi
If you arrive by train or bus to Lillehammer Bus Station, you can book a transfer from Lillehammer Taxi at a fixed price to your accommodation in Hafjell. You can do the same when you go back again. Remember to book at least 48 hours before your arrival time.

- The price incl. only "normal" loading in the car, in case of delays on the customer's part, waiting is additional.
All destinations can be reversed. Ordinary taxi rides in Øyer and Hafjell can be booked over the phone at 06565 or in the TaxiFix app.
Ferry to Hafjell
A ferry is a good and comfortable journey if you are coming from Denmark.
Arrival points in Norway are Larvik or Oslo. From Larvik it is 310 km to Hafjell and from Oslo it is about 200 km
Flights to Hafjell
Fly to Oslo, Gardermoen and take the train for 1.5 hours to Lillehammer station. Here there are both buses and taxis for transport to Hafjell.
