Oppdal Cycling Arena

Oppdal Cycling Arena has in a short time become a regular meeting place for young people in Oppdal, as well as an important recruitment tool for Oppdal Cycling Club. The cycling arena was completed in 2022, and is owned and operated by Oppdal Cycling Club. Here you will find flow trails with fun and challenging jumps and cliffs. The facility is open to everyone, and is completely free. 

Oppdal is known for its unique opportunities in cycling along natural trails in forests and on bare mountains. Steep, raw and often long. Oppdal Cycling Arena, on the other hand, can be found in downtown Kåsen, with trails adapted for the very youngest -  and for the playful adults. Oppdal cycling club has invested heavily to create a cycling offer that the whole of Oppdal and their guests can benefit from. The trails are graded green (Leile), blue (Køle luggum) and red (Flirfull). Put on your helmet and step on, because this is going to be great!

Kåsen is an outdoor area with a golf course, roller ski trail, and floodlit trail and curling in winter. There is also a starting point for several km of marked trails in shoes and over the tree line.

How to get to Oppdal Sykkelarena: From the city center, drive the E6 north about 1 km to the exit towards Kåsen friluftspark. Take the first exit on the left, and park at Skytterhuset.
