From winter 2025/2026, you can check into our brand new cabins at popular Varden. Varden Chalet are exclusive cabins that set a new standard for mountain holidays. Here, modern architecture and first-class comfort are combined with nature and fantastic ski slopes right outside the door.

Slide straight into the slopes
Varden Chalet has both the ski slope, the lift and the cross-country ski trails right outside the door. Close to the cabins you will find the chairlift Vesleseter Express, which takes you to the top of Varden, as well as the gondola that goes directly to the West Side.
High standard
Varden Chalet offers a high standard and a fantastic view. Made-up beds await you, as well as a separate spa room with a bathtub and sauna for maximum relaxation. Right outside you have easy access to the slopes and Kvitfjell's most family-friendly mountainside - with wide green and blue trails that the whole family will enjoy.
A skiing paradise
Kvitfjell is a paradise for those who love skiing, and Varden is our most family-friendly mountainside. With its wide green and blue slopes, the area is ideal for both beginners and experienced skiers who appreciate big carving turns. Enjoy easy access to all of Kvitfjell with our practical transport gondola that connects Varden to the West Side, and a 6-seater chairlift that takes you all the way to the top of Varden.
In the summer, we have great hiking opportunities both on foot and by bike. With a half-hour drive, you reach several attractions such as Hunderfossen in the south and the national parks Rondane and Jotunheimen in the north. Short distance to small nice centers such as Fåvang and the village of Ringebu.

Varden Restaurant
Varden Restaurant is located at the top of the hill at Varden. The view here is in itself worth a visit, with fantastic Rondane and Jotunheimen as a backdrop. The restaurant serves homemade breakfast, sandwiches and lunch. In addition, there are several events throughout the winter season.
Gondolen Mountain Bistro
Gondolen Fjellbistro is located on Skitorget on the West Side, where you can enjoy homemade food, hot and cold drinks and delicious coffee.
Tyrihanstunet
Tyrihanstunet is located just above the Gondola and Skitorget, and at Tyrihanstunet you will find three charming restaurants in the Norwegian traditional building style: Tyrihans Skicafè, Pizzahuset and Fjøset après-ski.

The cabins have modern facilities and a warm, cozy atmosphere that will make you feel at home from the first moment.
