Oppdal is located right in the heart of Norway
Less than 2 hours from Trondheim by car, or 1.5 hours by train. And just over 5 hours from Oslo, car or train. Once you've arrived, it's easy to leave the car parked, whether you're staying at a hotel in town or at a cabin on the slopes. Most of our accommodations near the slopes have ski in ski out opportunities and in addition, there is a free shuttle bus throughout the facility's opening hours via the town and to the 3 different bottom stations
Train to Oppdal
Arrival by train with the Dovre Line is either from Trondheim or from Oslo. The ski center is located right next to the center of Oppdal, and access is easy from the train station as there is a shuttle bus to the entire facility. The short distances in the ski village of Oppdal mean that you can easily manage without a car on a skiing holiday.
Trondheim-Oppdal: 1h and 40 min.
Oslo-Oppdal: 5 hours and 10 min
Gothenburg-Oppdal: 8h and 50 min. with a change of train Oslo S.
Stockholm-Oppdal: 13h 5 min. with a change of trains Gothenburg and Oslo S.

Ferry to Oppdal
A ferry is a good and comfortable journey if you are coming from Denmark.
Arrival points in Norway are Larvik or Oslo. From Larvik it is about 510 km to Oppdal and from Oslo it is about 410 km
Flights to Oppdal
Fly to Trondheim, Værnes and take the train for 2 hours and 30 minutes to Oppdal station.
Fly to Oslo, Gardermoen and take the train for 4 hours and 15 minutes to Oppdal station.
Fly to Molde and take a bus for 3 hours and 30 minutes to Oppdal station.
