Production of snow
Winter does not come by itself – it is created. In Hafjell , preparations for the start of the season start long before the first natural snow falls. When the freezing temperatures arrive, snow production is set in full swing, so that the trails have a solid and even foundation that lasts all season.
We use modern snow cannons and water from our own reservoirs to produce high-quality snow, regardless of natural snow. The plant is controlled digitally and optimized for low energy consumption and minimal environmental impact. The goal is for you to meet perfect conditions – from the first corner to the last day of the season.
