What is fist resting?
Here, people of all ages and backgrounds meet to push the boundaries of what we thought was possible. The goal is simple, but the challenge is great: Start at the bottom, walk or run up the hill, take the gondola back down, and repeat.
How many meters of altitude can you climb? Whether you're aiming for 3 or 27 laps, whether you're going without breaks or taking the time to relax along the way, this is your chance to test your endurance and willpower. We're going to fight our way up the hill, feel that we're really alive, and be left with a fantastic sense of accomplishment when the weekend is over. One lap is 590 meters of elevation, and the length is 3.5 kilometers.
How many mountains can you climb?

Frequently Asked Questions
- Where does Neveresting take place Hafjell?
-
Neveresting Hafjell takes place on the alpine slope of Hafjell alpine center between the gondola at Skitorget and the gondolatop.
- What does it mean that I have 6/12/36 hours?
-
The event itself will be carried out from 07.00 on Friday to 19.00 on Saturday for those who will walk 36 hours, and from 07.00 to 19.00 on Saturday for those who will walk 12 hours. 6 hours runs from 10.00 to 16.00 on Saturday.
During this time (these 6/12/36 hours) it is up to you to perform and enjoy what you can and complete as many rounds as you can.
The fact that you have 6, 12 or 36 hours does not mean that you have to walk constantly for 6, 12 or 36 hours.
If you want to go 2-3 rounds, take a break, go 5 rounds, sleep a little, etc., then it is entirely up to you.
If you want to complete 15 rounds right away, that's fine.
You manage these hours as you wish.
Remember to take time to eat and drink well throughout the event!
What is the focus, walking for 6/12/36 hours or climbing Mount Everest?
For many, the best thing is to climb Mount Everest in 15 laps. Others want to enjoy the weekend with friends and acquaintances, and take every single lap as they come. Whether it will be 5 or 20 is up to you!
Everyone who participates in Neveresting will be awarded this year's participant medal.
- Luggage
-
There is plenty of time to eat, drink and change outfits in the gondola on the way down. Therefore, we offer the opportunity to send your bag back up and we hang it back on the luggage storage at the top. Although snacks and drinks are available, we recommend bringing your own provisions that you know your stomach can handle. To accommodate all luggage, we recommend a maximum of 50 liter bag. The bag tag will be handed out with the start number.
