ACTIVE AND EXERCISE in Hafjell

Hafjell - National facilities for slalom and giant slalom

In 2015, Hafjell Alpine Centre was awarded the status of a national facility in alpine skiing for technical disciplines. The status gives Hafjell Alpine Center obligations to facilitate events and training, to be able to dispose of defined slopes for sporting activity.

Get season tickets at active prices in the National Resorts Hafjell and Kvitfjell by agreement between the club and Alpinco. Contact kvitfjell.no" > training@hafjell.no">hafjell.no for inquiries about club agreement.

Competition and training

The following trails may be closed or partially closed for competition and training during the season, but will be opened when the activity has ended. After that, the trails will be available to everyone.

  • #44 Kjusløypa - half the width can be blocked. During training activities, the blocked part will open and be accessible from approximately 12:00.  On evening skiing Tuesday and Thursday , it will be blocked here from 17:30-20:00.
  • #41 Hjortespranget - from the bottom station to Vidsynekspressen and down to over boarding to Skogsheisen. Here, the summit is closed at two or more trails. This slope may be closed until approximately 14:30.
  • #60 OL 1 - rarely used for anything other than competitive activity. If this is used for training activities, it will open again at approximately 14:00. Crossing to Vidsynekspressen will be possible, but closed during competition activity.
  • #46 The training trail - may be closed from 09:00 to approximately 15:00 on certain days and weekends. Used only for training activity, not competition.
  • #60 OL 2 - rarely used for anything other than competitive activity. If this is used for training activities, it will open again at approximately 14:00.
  • #60 OL 2.1 - often used for training activity. Access from Bukkespranget is always  blocked here if there is a competition or training activity. At two or more trails, the entry from OL 2 and into OL 2.1 is also blocked. #60 OL 2.1 can be used throughout opening hours, but from 10:30 you will not be able to drive further than the tunnel.
  • #60 OL 3 - can be used from 08:00-10:30. OL 3 can also be used after 10:30, but the trails must end at the tunnel.

Season pass for active players

In order to get season tickets at active prices in the national resorts Hafjell and Kvitfjell , a club agreement must be entered into between the club and Alpinco.

Coaches and team leaders can send an e-mail to hafjell.no">[email protected] to order season tickets for active players. Identification and a valid license are required to collect the season ticket.
