This summer, you can try exciting installations inspired by the TV series "The Master of Champions" around Gondoltoppen. The installations are made in collaboration with Vitensenteret Innlandet, and consist of various challenges that you and your family or group of friends can face and challenge each other with.
3. Family parks
In the immediate vicinity of Hafjell you will find two of the country's finest family parks, Hunderfossen and Lilleputthammer.
Hunderfossen is known as Norway's entire adventure park. Here there are over 60 attractions and activities for young and old. Experience our exciting family rafting, try Trollfallet if you dare, or take a seat in Il Tempo Extra Gigante itself!
Visit the miniature version of Storgata in Lillehammer in the 1930s, where you will find 44 shops, hotels, cafes, a climbing park, a police and a cinema, all built in 1:4 of the size you find in Lillehammer. In the city, children can ride trains, cars, boats, carousels, Ferris wheels, roller coasters or whizz down in Ola's frog jump.
4. Pump track and Isas Bikepark
Try one of Norway's largest pump trackers at Gondoltoppen in Hafjell! The pump track is completely free to use and we rent out bikes to the little ones. Otherwise, you can bring your own bike. Take the gondola up, play in our playground equipment and enjoy a lunch or an ice cream at Skavlen or Sætra.
5. Visit the animals at the Children's Farm
Children's Farm Hunderfossen has experiences and activities for children and adults who want close contact with animals! Cuddle, pet and feed the animals, eat good food in the farm shop and get an outlet for energy and playfulness on the climbing trail or on the forest car track.
6. Norwegian Road Museum
An eldorado for those who are interested in construction machinery and cars, here you can follow the entire history of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration and various vehicles in Norway. Here you will also find the Norwegian Rock Blasting Museum in a large rock hall, with an exhibition of blasting and drilling equipment that has been used through the ages. The museum is completely free.
7. Take the gondola to the mountains
With the gondola as a means of transport, you get to a new world, with great hiking opportunities and cycling trails. The Skavlen and Sætra eateries are open in the summer, so you can buy lunch or an ice cream. A perfect activity for the whole family, and is just as suitable on a rainy day as on a sunny day.
8. Mountain biking on Øyerfjellet
Lovely flow paths, technical trails, gravel roads, mountain farms - on Øyerfjellet the possibilities are many. If you do not have your own bike, you can rent from us at Favn bike rental. We have trail bikes and touring bikes, both electric and regular. You can also visit several mountain farms and eateries that have open dining.
9. Visit Lillehammer
Only 15 minutes from Hafjell is Lillehammer with all its experiences. If you want to go up a bit, you can visit the ski jump or if you are most comfortable on the water, you can take a trip with Skibladner - the world's oldest paddle steamer. If you prefer down to earth, we recommend Maihaugen or just visit one of the many cozy cafes in the pedestrian street.
10. Explore the food platter in Øyer
In Hafjell there is a rich offer of dining experiences, eateries and shops that sell locally produced food. Of local producers, you will find, among other things, sales at Moe Gård and Jevne Gård.
