In the summer, the Gondola runs everyday to Hovden and the restaurant The Hill 1125. From the top of Hovden you have a great view of Oppdal city center and the whole of Dovrefjell, as well as Trollheimen and Sunndalsøra. From here there are a number of hiking trails into the mountains and the possibilities are many.
