Alpinco passes half a billion – now one platform will tie the destinations together
Alpinco passes half a billion in the 2024-25 season. Now Alpinco.com is being launched to secure the next chapter of growth
Hafjell, 28 August 2025 – After several years of strong growth and strategic investments, Alpinco is now launching Alpinco.com. This will be a new digital platform and brand surface that will unite the company's three destinations, strengthen its international presence and lay the foundation for future expansion.
Alpinco owns and operates Hafjell, Kvitfjell and Oppdal, three of Norway's most trendsetting mountain destinations. In recent years, the company has experienced adventurous growth and recently passed half a billion kroner in total turnover.
"We are not just building lifts, we are building the future of Norwegian mountain tourism. With Alpinco.com, we gather our three powerhouses under one strong brand and make it easier for both Norwegian and international guests to find, plan and book their next mountain holiday. This is the start of something much bigger," says Jonas Bjørnerud, Commercial Manager at Alpinco.
Strategic digitalisation for international growth
The new digital platform has been developed in collaboration with technology partner Visit Group, and the new visual identity and brand strategy have been developed together with the renowned design and communication environment ANTI.
"This is a well-thought-out and proactive boost for the Group. Alpinco.com is more than a website, it will be our new hub in the meeting with both the market, media, partners and future employees. The digital must be as strong as our experiences on the slopes and in the mountains. This is a clear start to our international growth journey," says Espen S. Rønning, Marketing Manager at Alpinco.
"The development and launch of Alpinco.com has been an exciting journey. The collaboration between Alpinco, Anti and our team at Visit has worked very well in a project where the ambitions related to the guest journey and growth have been clear from the start. We at Visit are proud to have been a long-term partner for Alpinco, and to have contributed to the realization of a digital platform that will support Alpinco both in its continued international efforts and in its commercial development," says Adrian Holländer, Commercial Director at Visit Group.
Increasing demand from international markets
In recent winters, Alpinco has seen a marked increase in the number of foreign guests. The growth comes both to individual travelers and via tour operators. In particular, there is great interest from the UK, the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden. Earlier this year, the company announced a strategic collaboration with Avinor, which will help make Hafjell, Kvitfjell and Oppdal more accessible to the European market.

"We have really gained a foothold internationally, and with Avinor as a partner, we will show the world that Norway is a modern, accessible and authentic ski destination. Alpinco.com is our gateway to Europe. The goal is for the new platform to both inspire and convert," says Rønning.
One platform. Three destinations. Endless experiences.
Alpinco.com now provides full access to experiences, accommodation, activities and lift passes in Hafjell, Kvitfjell and Oppdal, on one and the same platform. In addition, the launch strengthens the company's visibility as an employer, property developer and sustainability player.
"Our goal is crystal clear: Alpinco.com will become the preferred website for booking activity-based mountain holidays in Norway. This means that we must be the best at both content, function and user-friendliness. Now we have taken the first big step," Rønning concludes.
