Get to know Hafjell's maskot, Isa!

Hafjell's mascot, Isa, is looking forward to meeting all ski-loving children in Hafjell. She's a playful, mischievous little creature who whizzes down the slopes on skis in the winter and bikes in the summer.
You can meet Isa around the resort or join one of her fun activities.

Activity program and events

For us, it is important to have the joy of skiing for the children.

Every day, every week, throughout the winter season, there are activities with Hafjell Ski School, our mascot Isa and many ski-loving children. The activities take place at Gondoltoppen/Favn and are varied from day to day, and in addition to that, there are lots of other fun events and competitions you can participate in throughout the season.

The Knerten

Knerten is a family area consisting of Familiebakken and Knerten. The area is centrally located in Hafjell's valley area.

In Knerten, music is often played, something the mascot Isa is very fond of and she shows up just as it is to ski and dance with the children both on the slopes and on Isa's stage, right next door. In Knerten, there is a slalom theme where the children can test drive slalom gates and practice turns.

The family area is also the meeting place for the ski school and without a doubt the perfect place for a beginner.

At Knerten you will also find a barbecue hut with free barbecues for those who want to use it.

Gaia

Gaia is a family area on Hafjelltoppen right next to Gaiastova. This family area is free for everyone - all season!

There is a slalom trail with figure gates, a separate ski cross trail for children and a new toboggan run for those who do not have skis on their feet. Toilets and other facilities can be found inside Gaiastova.

The entire family area at Gaia is free for everyone to use - all season! You don't need an Axess card to use the lift, you just have to go through the lift gate, making Gaia the perfect place to try skiing for the first time, for both young and old.
